When Is Filler Dissolving Needed?
Filler dissolving is considered in these situations:
- Lip filler that is overfilled, lumpy or uneven, or has spread beyond the lip border.
- Filler migration to an area other than the one treated, for example above the lip line.
- Lumps, swelling or asymmetry after filler in the face, cheeks or nose.

- A result that no longer feels right, to be reset before a new treatment.

Removal of Non-Resorbable Fillers
The removal of non-resorbable fillers represents a complex challenge, as these substances, being permanent, cannot be dissolved using enzymes like hyaluronidase. In these cases, treatment options are limited and may include surgical procedures or combined interventions to remove or reduce the filler's impact on tissue. However, such solutions can be invasive and don't always guarantee optimal aesthetic results.
