This week in Starbene magazine, Professor Tremolada discusses phlebotherapy: a treatment that provides both aesthetic results and improved leg wellness.
Permanently eliminates veins and venules from legs, providing renewed lightness to thighs and calves. It's called Three-dimensional Regenerative Ambulatory Phlebotherapy (TRAP). "It consists of a series of outpatient injections using a regenerative solution based on sodium salicylate, which acts by constricting and strengthening veins without closing, burning, or surgically removing them," explains Carlo Tremolada, plastic surgeon in Milan.
TRAP represents an evolution of traditional sclerotherapy techniques, offering a more conservative and regenerative approach. The treatment not only improves the aesthetic appearance of legs but also contributes to restoring proper vascular function, reducing symptoms such as heaviness and swelling in the lower extremities.
